We are delighted that you would visit our new website. It is our hope that you will find value during your tour and utilize us as a source of information in the future. It is our intention to keep program related information fluid but coherent. Should you decide to continue from this point there are two important things that we would like you to know. 1) Our aim is to provide services that are comprehensive, well coordinated, culturally competent, and client/family centered. The language used describes what we call the Human Services Infrastructure or HSI. The other CAAs across Connecticut also use HSI as a preferred way to deliver services. 2) We evaluate our programs by using two distinct but separate systems of thought and they are Results Oriented Management and Accountability (ROMA), and Mark Friedman's Results Based Accountability (RBA). Both of these are ways of thinking about performance, outcomes and intended results to be achieved for programs and select populations. We believe that Results Matter.
