Manage Your Future: Provides youth ages 14-21 from low income families with skills to enhance their self-sufficiency as young adults. The curriculum includes the widely used FDIC Money Smart Program (for youth) and The Apple Resource Guide (Applying Practical Principles for a Lifetime of Employment). The program includes: adult mentoring, extensive case management, and cultural enrichment experiences. Priorities are: developing money management skills, the ability to consistently save toward a goal, and enhanced employability. Participants spend 20 hours weekly at the internship site and 5 hours per week at CAANH. Goals for savings, attendance, tardiness, and worksite objectives will be developed mutually. A 1:1 match is offered for those meeting a savings goal.
