What is Aging with G.R.A.C.E.?

Aging with G.R.A.C.E. (Gathering Resources to Achieve Connections and Empowerment), is a program that offers individuals 60 years of age and older assistance in building new friendships, and promoting healthy eating, with a focus on the importance of being proactive in addressing barriers to staying independent.

Aging with G.R.A.C.E promotes social Interaction, opposes the threat of isolation, and depression, and potentially reduces the risks of being in vulnerable circumstances. The program offers mature adults an increased knowledge of available resources and a safe space to engage others. Through the program, clients benefit from case management services, Energy Assistance, a resource network, informational sessions, and referral services.

Services Offered:

  • Financial, and digital literacy sessions and workshops that result in the development of money management that builds savings and asset accumulation.
  • Providing seniors with digital literacy training that will help them stay connected, independent, and empowered in today’s digital world, and case management services focused on helping them to fulfill and establish their needs.
  • Case management services to ensure that the needs of the program participants are met.
  • Guest speakers on health and wellness
  • Educational and activity field trips
  • Informational sessions raise awareness about elder abuse and what preventative measures people can put in place to ensure that their rights are being protected, Life and health insurance, and much more.
  • Lunch included.
Eligibility Requirements:

Program requirements for the Aging with Grace Program are as follows:

  • Participants must be 60 years of age and older.
  • Fully vaccinated.
  • Income at or below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines
  • Able to participate in meetings.
