Executive Assistant to the CEO
In July 2007, Caren Lang joined CAANH as the Executive Assistant to the CEO. This position brings with it a range of responsibilities that ensure the CEO, The Board of Directors and the staff can fulfill their commitment to our constituents. These responsibilities include: preparing important documents, privileged information, keeping the CEO's calendar, scheduling travel, taking minutes, writing correspondence and managing the office.
This position is a direct organizational support and gatekeeper to the CEO, senior leaders and the Board so that projects and initiatives stay on track. This position also includes responsibilities as intermediary with legislative leaders and funders. As Executive Assistant, one needs to deal with change, and adjust to help people, projects and departments stay on track. In Caren’s 10 years at CAANH, she has contrubited mightily to the agency’s improved management, performance and success.
